What is Centavito?
Centavito is a personal finance management tool that works in your local currency, with categories that make sense for your everyday life and integration with wallets like Yape and Plin. It was born in Peru, but it's designed so anyone can use it from anywhere in the world, for both individual and shared expenses.
The app lets you record income and expenses, organize bank accounts, split expenses with friends or family, and ask the CENTI financial assistant —a copilot that answers questions about your finances in natural language, based on your real data.
Our mission
Financial education is still a privilege in much of the world. Many personal finance tools are designed for a single context —a single currency, different financial habits, for markets where formal credit is the norm.
Our mission is to make financial control accessible to anyone, wherever they live, regardless of their income level or prior knowledge. We believe that knowing exactly where your money goes is the first step towards any financial improvement.
The problem we solve
The invisible drip
Small, recurring expenses —breakfasts, transport, delivery, subscriptions— are the hardest to remember and the ones that add up the most. Without tracking, they're invisible.
Awkward group debts
"I'll pay you back" is the phrase that complicates the most friendships. Splitting expenses manually among friends or colleagues creates tension and forgetfulness. Centavito removes that friction.
The lack of financial context
Having the data isn't enough if you can't interpret it. CENTI, our AI assistant, answers questions about your financial situation in natural language, jargon-free.
